Activating AppHero Free Gift on Your Shopify Theme

To use the AppHero Free Gift app and create gift offers on your store, you need to enable the AppHero Free Gift app embed on your theme.

What are app embeds, and why do I need them?

App embeds are a way for Shopify apps to insert visual elements into your theme without actually modifying the theme's code.

After a Shopify app is installed, its app embed is disabled by default. To use the app, you need to manually enable and save the app embed in your theme.

How to activate AppHero Free Gift’s app embed?

If the AppHero Free Gift app embed is inactive when you open AppHero Free Gift, a notification will appear, prompting you to enable it on your theme. Click the "Enable" button. This will redirect you to your theme's app embed section. To activate it, simply click the "Save" button in the theme editor.

Alternatively, to activate the AppHero Free Gift app embed directly from the theme editor, follow these steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Sales channels > Online Store > Themes.

2. Find your current theme, and then click Customize.

3. Click the App embeds tab.

4. Select AppHero Free Gift app embed.

5. Beside AppHero Free Gift’s app embed, click the toggle to activate it.

6. Click Save to save your changes.

How to enable AppHero Free Gift on an unpublished theme?

If you want to use AppHero Free Gift on an unpublished theme, follow the same steps as above for any theme in your Themes section. However, click the 'Customize' button for the theme on which you want to activate AppHero Free Gift.

Note: If you activate AppHero Free Gift on a theme other than the current theme, AppHero Free Gift will continue to show a notification that AppHero Free Gift is inactive.

Can I enable AppHero Free Gift on multiple themes?

Yes, you can activate AppHero Free Gfit on as many themes as you want. However, all of them will display the same offers.
